TEMPO.CO, Colorado - Strong storms triggerering tornadoes struck areas in Minnesota and Colorado, United States yesterday. A storm chaser said the tornado was a couple of hundred meters wide.
As quoted on CNN, two tornadoes touched down in Colorado. To date, there have yet to be any reports concerning the victims and damages. There was still a possibility of tornadoes striking in south central Minnesota and central Iowa tonight.
A tornado warning was announced in Texas. According to the National Weather Service, strong winds gust up to 112 km/h. Students at Southern Methodist University were told to shelter in safe places.
The storm was followed by floods. Five boys were reportedly rescued from a creek after fast-moving waters moved in.
Today, strong storms will probably strike from Arkansas to Indiana. Rain will also fall in the Midwest, Southern and Eastern Sea. This weather could affect as many as 14 million people.
