Boeing Fires 300 Employees

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - On Wednesday, plane manufacturer Boeing has announed to fire 300 employees from Port Melbourne, Australia, by the end of 2014. The factory is responsible to produce carbon fiber body for the Dreamliner 787.
Boeing said that the company has finished any existing order, and that the factory's service is no longer required. The company later mentioned that the cut-off is a part of the factory's cycle.
Currently, there are 1,300 staffs in Port Melbourne. Boeing stated that it will keep on recruiting skilled employee.
