TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - United States President Barack Obama, said that the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 airplane receives "top priority." Obama also offerred assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
"We have put every resource that we have available at the disposal of the search process. There has been close cooperation with the Malaysian government. I want them to be assured that we consider this a top priority," said Obama as broadcasted by local television station KDFW as his first speech regarding the missing plane.
The Malaysian government has given some data to the FBI, including pilot simulator hard drive and data retrieved from co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid's electronic media. The data will be sent to FBI laboratory in Quantico, Virginia.
The FBI could not confirm whether the data will provide needed information as some of the simulator data had been deleted.
