TEMPO.CO, Beijing - China will begin to use drone for an entirely different purpose as the nation battles the raging haze of pollution. Drones will be deployed to spray chemical compound that can freeze pollutants, causing it to sprinkle on the earth.
Xinhua reported that China will test the drone's utilization by the end of this month. The Aviation Industry Corporation of China, a company that produces the drones, claimed to have equipped them with a more flexible and aero-dynamic shape for easier control. The company's CEO Ma Yongsheng, stated that each drone has the ability to lift a cargo three times heavier than its own weight, thus providing a more effective operation.
In the last couple of years, cities in China have been facing a disastrous problem due to air pollution caused by power plant emission.
