TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - In the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. Jessica Dolcourt, technology expert from Cnet said the new Galaxy S5 will be one of the 'busiest' phones this year.
"It may not be the most exciting new smartphone there is," she concludes, "but from what I've seen so far, the Galaxy S5 earns keep Samsung's legacy of high-end Samsung smartphones strong," said Dolcourt.
Allvoices website reports, in making the Galaxy S5, Samsung has studied and fixed a few things, including processor speed, camera quality and a better battery from the previous generation Galaxy phones.
"With the Galaxy S5, Samsung is going back to basics to focus on delivering the capabilities that matter most to our consumers," said Shin Jong-kyun, CEO of Samsung.
Consumers are looking for mobile tools that inspire and support them as they improve their everyday lives, said Shin Jong-Kyu. The Galaxy S5 represents an iconic design with essential and useful features needed by the consumers.
The Galaxy S5 will be made available worldwide starting April. Samsung does not mention pricing, but says this phone will be in the mid to high end range.
