TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bank Surya CEO Adrian Kiki had finally been extradited from Australia to Indonesia after being a fugitive of the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) case for six years. Adrian was sentenced to a lifetime improsonment and a fine of Rp 30 million (around US$2,489).
Deputy Attorney General Andhi Nirwanto, stated that the Attorney General Office has successfully confiscated Adrian's assets and have it auctioned. The assets worth Rp 1.75 billion and Rp 1.770 billion.
"We have deposited [the money] to the state treasury," Andhi said on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
Adrian arrived at the Attorney General Office last night after an AGO team picked him up from Perth. Adrian will be detained at the Cipinang Penintentiary.
