TEMPO.CO, Bangkok - PTT Rayong, one of Thailand's League clubs, is rumored to recruit ex Juventus attacker and Italian national, Alessandro Del Piero, who is now playing for an Australian League club, Sydney FC.

The club is prepared to disburse a big cash to have the 39-year-old player's service. PTT Rayong’s manager, Prawut Thavorsiri, as reported by AFP yesterday, said they have sent him (Del Piero) a letter to ask what conditions he would want, adding that Del Piero said he needed a few days of consideration.

Although he is currently the highest paid player in A-League, Del Piero is said to be unhappy with the Australian football’s climate. PTT Rayong sees it as an opportunity to persuade the player to play in Thailand.
