TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President of Public Relations at the state-owned railway Ccmpany KAI Sugeng Priyono, said that to anticipate Christmas 2013 and New Year 2014, the company has added more trips to serve certain routes. The new trips include three executive class trips and three economy class trips.
Sugeng added the new trips will be available starting December 21, 2013 until January 5, 2014. He said that the number of passengers will start to increase on December 22 until December 24 because of Christmas holiday and December 30 until December 31 because of New Year holiday.
Meanwhile, for regular train, Sugeng informed that KAI will increase the number of carriages in accordance with locomotive's capacity and maximum length of the train set. He ecplained that the additional cars will be attached to anticipate the increasing number of passengers during Christmas and New Year Holiday.
Sugeng also said that the price of tickets will be adjusted according to the market.
