TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Napoli's helmsman Rafael Benitez, expressed his satisfaction upon seeing his boys making a splendid comeback when trashing Livorno four goals to nil. He said that he felt delighted that his squad managed to make an impressive performance at the Italy's Serie A after losing to Arsenal in the Champions League match last midweek.
"I am satisfied with the performance today," Benitez said, as cited by Tribal Football. "It was a difficult match, but the team showed the character and reaction I wanted after London (the match against Arsenal)."
"It was important for us to win today. We were without Gonzalo Higuain, but we had Goran Pandev, while Jose Maria Callejon also scored. All the forwards are doing well," the former Liverpool and Chelsea's manager said.
Il Partenopei won over Livorno in homeground San Paolo, putting them two points behind the AS Roma atop the standings. Tailing Napoli is Juventus, with a heroic 3-2 winning against AC Milan on Sunday.
