TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - At the second day of Islamic Solidarity Game (ISG) III, various Islamic Confederation Countries will compete for a total of 13 gold medals from weight-lifting, karate, and swimming. The ISG sport events will be most likely to take place in the Aquatic arena.
Novi Haryanto at Media Services Islamic Solidarity Games mentioned that Egypt has earned most medals so far with three golds, two silvers, and two bronzes. Meanwhile, Indonesia sits at sixth place with one gold medal and five bronze medals.
Djoko Pramono, Central ISG First Deputy of Competition, said that this year's event noted some new records from the participants. Officially, there are 46 nations participating in ISG, competing for 13 sport branches and 1,254 gold medals.
