TEMPO.CO, London - The Serie A Brasileiro League has managed to achieve the largest amount of profit during the summer transfer window, receiving in total of 163 million Poundsterlings. The numbers were calculated from 181 million Poundsterlings gained from selling players, subtracted by 17,9 million Poundsterling spent for recruiting players.
The transfer market noted that Brazilian clubs were a little subtle when it comes to recruiting new players. Only two major clubs, Santos and Internacional, were keen on spending a large sum of money for recruiting players. Santos even sold one of its star player Neymar, to Barcelona with a transfer fee of 50 million poundsterling.
The Brazilian fortune, however, fails to spread to La Liga Espana, which only managed to gain 90 million poundsterlings worth of profit, exceeding the numbers recorded by the Serie A Italian League and the English Premier League.
