TEMPO.CO, Ulrichen, Switzerland – FIFA President Joseph 'Sepp' Blatter, predicted that the FIFA Executive Committee will eventually decide to reschedule the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to a less warmer season. Qatar was chosen to host the 2022 World Cup three years ago, after defeating United States, Japan, South Korea, and Australia on the selection process.
Blatter said that Qatar's air temperature, which can reach up to 40 degree Centigrade during the summer has raised concerns. In response, the 2022 World Cup Committee suggested that the mathces will be held in stadiums equipped with air-conditioning technology to compensate for the high-temperature.
On the other hand, the World Cup Executiv Committee continues to push the country to change the event's schedule in accordance with Blatter's statement that stated that it is almost impossible to play soccer during summer in Qatar.
