TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Syawal Gultom, Head of Human Resource Development and Quality Section at the Ministry of Education and Culture, mentioned that the new curriculum called for 60,991 teachers to be trained.
"Training will begin by the end of June to July 14," said Syawal. The training will present several speakers including, curriculum developers, book writers, and government officials. The speakers will train 588 instructors, that will later train 4,731 main teachers in eight regions.
Syawal also said that the training will cover five essential topics including curriculum mindset change, curriculum basic concept and its rationalization, curriculum implementation, school management change, and evaluation and guidance material.
