Phillips Trains Indonesian Healthcare Professionals

TEMPO.CO, Singapore - Phillips Health Care is set to train 3,500 Indonesian healthcare professionals in 2013. Philips Health Care ASEAN General Manager Vincent Khan stated that this training will not only benefit healthcare professionals, but also the patients after they receive medical care.
Healthcare professionals can also offer operational and financial developments for hospitals and healthcare systems. In addition, trained healthcare professionals will also be able to help their patients during the healing period at home.
The Dutch company established its training center in Singapore in 2006 with a total investment of 12 million euros. Some healthcare equipment developed by Phillips includes cardio vascular x-ray, general x-ray, computer tomography scanner, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasounds systems and patient monitoring.
Since 2006, Phillips has trained over 2,500 students in 23 countries in Asia-Pacific.
