TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Commissioner Agus Rianto, INP Head of General Information, said 2 Papuans were killed and 28 others injured in a series of clash following the death of a member of Regional House of Representatives, Eka Tabuni (40).

"This tribal war is a continuation of the previous incident," said Agus. Eka Tabuni was hacked to death on Wednesday. He was a suspected murderer of Yustinus, the Head of Public Department of Nduga District, killed on March 23, 2012.

Both incidents triggered a tribal war in Wamena for two days, Wednesday and Thursday. Agus demanded the people not to jump into anger and wage tribal war, to avoid more victims in both parties.
