TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigated a member of the driving-simulator procurement commitee, Ni Nyoman Suartini.
“Nyoman was investigated for a suspect named DP,” said Priharsa Nugraha, Head of KPK's Reporting and Information Division on Wednesday, April 24.
DP is an acronym of Brig. Gen. Didik Purnomo, former deputy chief of the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas), whose has been declared as a suspect following the inspection of Djoko Susilo’s documents.Ni Nyoman Suartini ignored questions thrown by reporters as he walked in to the KPK office lobby.
Didik became on of the suspect for the driving-simulator corruption case on August 1, 2012. His colleague, Insp. Gen. Djoko Susilo, is suspected of abusing his authority as the chief of Korlantas and is believed to have caused Rp. 100 billion (US$ 10,3 million) state losses.
