TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jokowi – Ma’ruf volunteer group comprised of retired army personnel, Bravo 5, reports that their study reveals 58.7 percent of potential voters in the Banten Province prefer Jokowi’s presidential candidate rival Prabowo Subianto.

Bravo 5 chairman retired General Fachrul Razi said that despite Jokowi-Ma’ruf are backed by less potential votes, this does not exclusively mean that the pair will tumble at Banten.

“The gap is not that significant,” said Fachrul to a group of journalists after the campaign team’s event that was held at Ancol, North Jakarta yesterday.

He revealed that the significance of Ma’ruf Amin’s electability in his own region of Banten is yet to be known. However, he maintained that he will be conducting an evaluation to uncover it.

The Bravo 5 campaign team is currently spread across 34 provinces and outside Indonesian borders at 26 countries. There are also 11 exclusive divisions such as the female, youths, and Ulama division.

“We can enter and territorially infiltrate or undetected [an area],” said Fachrul.

The Bravo 5 poll further reveals that the Java Island is still dominated by Jokowi-Ma’ruf voters with an estimated figure of 59.2 percent.
