TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta said that the company has reached 97.52 percent progress for the MRT project in Jakarta. MRT President director William Sabandar said the trains and the stations will start operating in March 2019.

"The remaining work of 2.5 percent is comprised of reparations on the inside of the station, which we will immediately work on," William said at Dukuh Atas Station in Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 29.

Some of the remaining work is architectural, such as roofing, aluminum composite foil, and tiles for the interior of the station. The tracks on the inside will also be tidied up.

For the exterior of the station, the works being done include the installation of pegs, escalators, and elevators to the inside of the MRT station.
