TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi was scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Wednesday afternoon, November 14.
“A bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin will be held this afternoon,” said the Presidential Secretariat Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Bey Machmudin in a written statement on Wednesday, November 14.
Before meeting with President Putin, Jokowi was also scheduled to meet with President of Chile Sebastian Pinera. The meetings will be held on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Summit at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore.
The President Jokowi attended four ASEAN events, namely the ASEAN-Australia Informal Breakfast Summit, the 21st ASEAN-China Summit, the 20th ASEAN-South Korea Summit, and Working Lunch hosted by Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
“The next agenda is the 3rd ASEAN-Russia Summit, and to witness the signing of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) - ASEAN on Economic Cooperation,” said Bey.
This afternoon, Jokowi will attend the 2nd Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) summit.
The series of events of the 33rd ASEAN Summit will be ended with a Gala Dinner for leaders of ASEAN countries, leaders of Non-Non-ASEAN-EAS countries and leaders of countries who were guests of the Chair of ASEAN.
This morning, at 8:00 local time, Jokowi held a bilateral meeting with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
