Blue Bird Prepares Two Type of Luxury Cars for IMF-WB Meeting

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia`s largest taxi company Blue Bird would equip 430 units of Toyota Camry and Mercedes-Benz E200 to support the establishment of the 2018 IMF-World Bank meeting, which was slated to take place in Bali, October 6-15.

Maria Lihawa, Blue Bird’s Vice President of Central Operations Division said the company was entrusted to assist the IMF-WB meeting by providing 430 units of Toyota Camry and Mercedes-Benz E200.

“The standard of the two types of the cars in line with the company’s standard, as well as the services that based on Limousine’s service standards from Goldenbird,” said Maria to Bisnis Thursday, October 4.

Blue Bird, along with the organizing committee, would select the drivers and hold special training for the sake of the smoothness of the event.

Based on Bisnis observation on Wednesday, as many as 215 sedans to transport delegations of 2018 IMF-WB meeting had been neatly parked in Lapangan Lagoon, Nusa Dua, Bali Province. The field was commonly used as tourists parking lot.

The cars underwent the ramp check in the parking lot as to ensure the suitability and safety for the delegations of the 2018 IMF-World Bank meeting and state guests. Blue Bird planned to deliver the other 215 luxury cars today, October 4.
