Asian Para Games to be Broadcasted Live by TVRI, Metro TV

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The 2018 Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC) collaborates with TVRI and Metro TV to broadcast live the sports event for people with disabilities, which will take place on October 6-13.
“Of course we are proud to be the partner for the 2018 Asian Para Games because it is in accordance with the police function of TVRI which can serve all people including the people with disabilities. Hopefully, the unyielding spirit gives them freedom,” said TVRI President Director Helmy Yahya.
Metro TV Editor in Chief Don Bosco Selamun said that the 2018 Asian Para Games gives a different spirit. “We do not only watch the athletes achieve the best achievements but also explore the spirit of struggle without surrender. Their struggle becomes a valuable lesson about what it means to have a hopeful life, be happy and achieve in physical limitations,” he said.
The 2018 Asian Para Games will take place in Jakarta from 6 to 13 October. The athletes from 43 participating countries are scheduled to compete in 18 sports. The government targets the Indonesian athletes to win 16 gold medals and enter the top eight.
