TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will attempt to increase the acceptance rate of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus program. Anies said that the Jakarta Administration would try to meet the target of 870,000 cards by the end of 2018.
"We try to accelerate, I want to ensure that the potential errors in KJP must be fixed," Anies said at the City Hall on Friday, September 21, 2018.
Anies also said that the Jakarta government would ensure that KJP recipients to really meet the requirements. "We don't want to achieve the target number but with low accuracy. Hopefully, all can be met," said Anies.
Jakarta Legislative Council Budget Agency member Gembong Warsono, previously said that the recipients of KJP Plus declined compared to last year during the era of former Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, also known as Ahok.
"KJP Plus should improve KJP, not decline it instead," said Gembong on Wednesday, September 21, 2018.
