TEMPO.CO, JakartaGrab Indonesia, in collaboration with a grocery delivery service provider HappyFresh, will launch an on-demand delivery service dubbed GrabFresh. It is intended to provide a more convenient way to shop for the daily necessity for Indonesian consumers.

“GrabFresh is our latest Everyday Super App to develop the user’s loyalty and develop a better microbusiness,” said Managing Director of Grab Indonesia, Ridzki Kramadibrata, in Jakarta, Thursday, September 6.

The collaboration is a concept manifestation of Grab to provide daily services. ”With Grab’s extensive network, we believe that HappyFresh service can reach Indonesian people even further,” said co-founder and CTO Happy Fresh, Fajar A. Budiprasetyo.

Established since early 2015, HappyFresh is available in Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bandung, and Surabaya. GrabFresh service is also already available in these cities.

GrabFresh offers quality products as promised by the Happy Fresh service and is equipped with a personal shopper to choose fresh items needed by the consumers.

“We have personal shoppers who have been trained because shopping in the supermarket is not easy. In online groceries, quality is the most important thing,” said Fajar.

With GrabFresh, the groceries can be delivered quickly and the consumers can determine the time to deliver it. They can open the Groceries feature in the Grab application, then choose the supermarket, and choose the items they want to buy.

However, the users must place a minimum order of Rp100,000 to be able to use this service. The payment can be done by cash, as well as credit and debit cards.
