TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Athletes and officials of the 2018 Asian Games who returned to their homelands on Tuesday, September 4, were escorted and entertained by a fashion show. The show, displaying clothes from many countries, was held at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International (CGK), in Tangerang.
The show was organized by Angkasa Pura II (AP2), collaborating with the Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC).
AP2 director of service and facility Ituk Herarindri said that the activity was a form of service and appreciation to all guests in the airport—including Asian Games athletes and officials, in hopes they will go home with nice memories of Indonesia.
"The fashion parade is also to commemorate the 2018 National Customer Day, so airport managers are obliged to provide the best service," he said.
The founder of JFC, Dynand Fariz, said he received full support from Tourism Ministry. Dynand remarked that promoting tourism must be done in various ways, including fashion shows for Asian Games guests.
