Anies Baswedan Allows Jakarta Residents to Use Asian Games Venues

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan plans to give permission for the Jakarta residents to utilize the 2018 Asian Games venue facilities to exercise. The pan-Asia sporting event has ended on September 2.

Anies said that Jakarta Administration would allocate a special budget to reduce the rental costs for the use of the facility since the public delivered complaints about the expensive rental cost.

“We will allocate sufficient budget so that the Jakarta residents can use the world-class facilities,” said Anies in Jakarta, Tuesday, September 4.

The 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta was held in several locations such as the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Bulungan Sports Hall, Rawamangun Velodrome and Equestrian.
