TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Narcotics Agency (BNN) was currently keeping eyes on five spots of night entertainment in West Jakarta and North Jakarta which indicated as the place of drug distribution.
"We focus on monitoring five places in West and North Jakarta,” said BNN official Insp. Gen. Arman Depari at East Jakarta today, July 7. The type of drugs circulated was methamphetamine, among others.
Arman stated the police needed to find evidence to further take stern actions. BNN has coordinated with Jakarta BNN and the Jakarta administration on the matter.
As reported earlier, BNN raided Sense Karaoke on Wednesday, April 11. BNN stated the drugs were provided by the employees. Six suspects were named and the city government revoked its business permit.
Arman further ordered his investigators to clearly identify the case to catch the people behind the drug distribution other than the couriers. "There must be people responsible for it as it’s operated for such a long time. Six suspects had been probed," he added.
