TEMPO.CO, Jakarta- Setya Novanto's nephew Irvanto Hendra Pambudi will soon be tried in the electronic ID cards (e-KTP) graft. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to hand over Irvanto's case files to the Corruption Court.
"In the near future we will delegate them to the Jakarta Corruption Court," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said in a written statement, Friday, July 6.
Febri said KPK investigators had submitted the files of the case and the suspect to the prosecutor general.
The antigraft body named Irvanto as a suspect in the e-KTP corruption case on February 28. The KPK suspected the former director of PT Murakami Sejahtera to have known about the procurement process since the beginning.

Irvanto is also suspected of joining the Fatmawati meetings along with a team of project providers.
In addition, Irvanto is accused of knowing beforehand that there was a five-percent "fee" required to approve the e-KTP budget. Irvanto also allegedly received kickbacks totaling US$3.5 million.
Febri said the KPK had questioned 120 witnesses for charges against Irvanto, including members and former members of the House of Representatives, and former home affairs minister Gamawan Fauzi.
