Anies to Cut Allowance of Jakarta Official Who Skips Work Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan will give a sanction of cutting off a full month`s performance allowance for the Jakarta Administration officials who skipped work after the collective leave of 2018 Eid.
The sanction even will be imposed if the individual only skipped the first day of work after the long holiday. “If they skip work for a day, then they will lose one month of TKD (Regional Performance Allowances),” said Anies Thursday, June 21.
Anies said the sanction is in accordance with Governor Regulation No. 409 of 2016 About the Regional Performance Allowances. The reduction of the TKD is also applied for the civil servants who come late.
Head of Jakarta Civil Service Agency, Syamsudin Lologau, said that as many as 1,801 employees had not yet come until 07:30 today, June 21, from the total employee of Jakarta Administration of 67,295 people.
Syamsudin said the new employees can be called absent if they do not come until the afternoon.
He said the 1,801 employees did not include the teachers since they are still on school holidays. The number of teachers in the Jakarta Administration is 24,410 people.
