Police Reportedly Terminate Probe on Rizieq Shihab Porn Case

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Police has reportedly issued the investigation termination letter (SP3) for the pornography case involving Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) leader Rizieq Shihab.
“I have heard the news that the termination letter had been issued yesterday,” said Rizieq’s lawyer Kapitra Ampera in a short message today, June 6. Thus, Kapitra demanded the police clarify his client’s status to the public.
National Police deputy chief Comr. Gen. Syafruddin claimed he did not know the letter issuance. “What I’ve known is the letter for [Rizieq Shihab’s] case in West Java."

Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono refused to give statement related to the issue of the investigation termination letter. “Ask the National Police,” he underlined.
Similar to Argo, the Police`s Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) chief Comr. Gen. Ari Dono reluctant to provide information on the matter. “Ask National Police’s spokesman [Insp. Gen. Setyo Wasisto],” he said.
Setyo Wasisto, meanwhile, claimed he had not known yet the issue related to the investigation termination letter (SP3) of pornography case involving Rizieq Shihab. “I don’t know to what extent the investigation process had been conducted.”
