TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Post for Energy and Mineral Resources said there had been an increase in the distribution volume of Premium gasoline and Dexlite diesel fuel. The increase happens before the homecoming period for this year's Eid begins.
Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) committee member Muhammad Ibnu Fajar said Premium consumption increased by 6.5 percent while Dexlite's rose 26.6 percent. For Premium's case, the increase is also affected by the government's policy to distribute the fuel in Java, Madura and Bali.

The supply volume for several types of fuel will be adjusted to the number of vehicles during the homecoming period. Fajar said the supply volume increase will be done simultaneously from May 31 Mei to June 28.
"Or throughout the entire time that the National Post team operates," he said on Monday, June 4.
Fajar added Premium sales peaked on June 1 with a volume of 35,685 kiloliters. Pertalite's highest sales volume was on June 3 with 44,294 kiloliters, while Pertamax's was also on June 1 with 19,896 kiloliters.
Meanwhile, Solar diesel fuel reached its highest sales figures on May 31 with 71,256 kiloliters and Dexlite on June 3 with 1,685 kiloliters.
