
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto explained that Apple Developer Academy Indonesia will create 600 Software Developers every year.
“In Indonesia, [the Apple Academy] will be built in three locations; two in Java Island and one outside Java,” said Airlangga after the inauguration of Apple Developer Academy Indonesia at BSD Green Office Park, Cisauk, Banten, May 7.
Apple Developer Academy has officially opened in Indonesia and became the first academy in Asia. Previously it was first built in Brazil and the second in Italy, so Indonesia became the third country in the world that has the academy.

The academy, the minister said, is the biggest part of the investments. According to Airlangga, the management is based on the previous research done by the trained instructors.
Apple Developer Academy has an area of 1,500 square meters with a capacity of 200 developers. The learning environment is equipped with many LCD screens on its walls, ergonomic desk technology that can be set according to research from John Medina.
"This academy aims to challenge and inspire students through various teaching and learning approaches, and the first class has accommodated 75 students who have started training up to one year ahead with the facility," Airlangga added.
