TEMPO.CO, Bogor - First Lady Iriana Widodo attended the commemoration of Kartini Day at Bogor Presidential Palace on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Iriana was accompanied by Mufidah Kalla, the wife of Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
Also in the event were the wives of the cabinet ministers who are members of Organisasi Aksi Solidaritas Era Kabinet Kerja (OASE KK). They were seen wearing a pink traditional blouse, kebaya.
The Committee Chairman of Kartini Day, Nora Tristyana Ryamizard Ryacudu, said that the commemoration has been started earlier. "We have carried out social services and planted trees," Nora said.
In addition, the OASE KK will hold running event titled 'Kartini Run' on Sunday, April 22, 2018 in which the participants will be dominated by women. "There are also interviews with the great women in Indonesia conducted by Mrs. Iriana," Nora added.
The commemoration of Kartini Day was attended by all members of OASE KK and three women ministers, namely Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Environment and Forestry Minister Siti Nurbaya Bakar, and Minister for Women Empowerment and Child Protection Yohana Yambise.
