TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Backpacking can be a solution for budget travelers to go out of a metropolitan city and explore a new place. A travel influencer Uda Dendy, known as @baratdaya_ on Instagram, recommends three places that you can visit for backpacking.
1. Lampung
According to Dendy, Lampung is potential for its beauty. It has quite a complete landscape; from land to sea. “The beaches are very good,” he said.
You can visit Way Kambas National Park, Gigi Hiu Beach, and Kiluan Bay. In Way Kambas, you can see the native habitat of Lampung elephants.
In Gigi Hiu Beach, you can build a tent and spend the night. “You can see dolphins in Kiluan Bay,” Dendy said.
2. Sukabumi
In Sukabumi, you can go to the Geopark Ciletuh that has an exotic rock hill. There are various waterfalls with a heavy flow of water.
There is also a suspension bridge in Situ Gunung which will be opened this March. It is said to be the longest bridge in Indonesia.
3. Belitung
Belitung offers hotels with a rate of around Rp100,000 per night. You can visit the islands with a view of exotic stones, such as in Lengkuas Island. You can also wander to the replica school of Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Troops) or visit Andrea Hirata’s Museum Kata.
