The protesters who wore all black as a mourning gesture upon the death of Muhammad Zaini Misrin brought banners that stated ‘Saudi Arabia please stop beheading Indonesian migrant workers.’
“At 11:30 a.m. Western Indonesia time, Saudi authorities killed Zaini Misrin who did not commit the murder against his employer,” said Anies Hidayah from Migrant Care.
The protesters regret that Saudi Arabia violated the international etiquette for not informing the Indonesian government on the death execution.
Migrant Care demands the Indonesian government to issue an official protest to the Saudi Arabia Kingdom and deploy its political and diplomatic power to rescue the remaining migrants that are currently on death row across the globe.
