TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The first pre-trial on the investigation stoppage to the persecution case of Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH Jakarta) public lawyer Alldo Fellix Januardy was held today, Monday, January 29, at the South Jakarta District Court.
Alldo filed the pre-trial on alleged persecution case that he experienced in Bukit Duri, South Jakarta two years ago. Petitioner's legal counsel, Muhammad Isnur, said that Alldo filed a pretrial because he received a Termination of Investigation Order (SP3) in August 2017.
“Their reasons are not clear. Our proof is enough. So we have to ask what are their reasons, “ Isnur said on Sunday, January 28.
The case occurred when South Jakarta Administration evicted a residential complex in Bukit Duri on January 12, 2016. At that time, Alldo was the attorney of the evicted citizen.
Alldo tried to block the execution because the lawsuit process was still ongoing in the State Administrative Court (PTUN). While trying to dispel, Alldo admitted being persecuted by the police and the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) officers. As a result, Alldo suffered bruises on his body, broken glasses and a damaged cell phone.
Alldo then reported the persecution incident to the Jakarta Metro Police and then it was delegated to the South Jakarta Police Department. But the case was stagnated and then it was being stopped.
“I hope the police will come to the pre-trial. The first trial on Monday was postponed because the police did not come,” said Isnur.
