TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Task Force IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting 2018 Peter Jacobs said that hundreds of countries will discuss the world economy in Bali in 2018.
Peter said that the IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting 2018 is scheduled for October 9-14 2018. However, official meetings will only start on October 12.
Some 17,000 delegates, comprising finance ministries and bank central governors, will be attending the meeting. The figure can rise further.
Peter added that the event that will bring together delegates hail from 189 countries will bring benefits to investment, tourism, trade, employment, etc.
Indonesia was named the host of IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting 2018 after eliminating Egypt and Senegal in the process. Indonesia will be the fourth ASEAN country to host the event after the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.
