TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno is optimistic that the preparation for the 2018 Asian Games will be completed according to its intended schedule.
However, Jakarta’s notorious traffic congestion is still a problem for the Asian Games participants. “We’ll think about how to manage it, we will anticipate it,” said Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno in the 2018 Asian Games meeting at the Gelora Bung Karno on Sunday, November 12.
Jakarta’s Head of the Transportation Department Andri Yansyah said revealed that the government has prepared Rp11.9 billion to battle traffic congestion during Asia’s sporting festivity.

The Transportation Agency will mobilize 1,300 personnel specifically to manage transportation for the 2018 Asian Games.
