TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today will question former Director General of Sea Transportation Antonius Tonny Budiono. The KPK will ask him about the bribery case in the licensing and procurement process of a dredging project at Tanjung Mas Port, Semarang.

"He will be questioned as a witness for suspect Adiputra Kurniawan, the commissioner of PT Adhiguna Keruktama," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said in Jakarta, Thursday, October 5.

On August 23, the KPK held a sting operation and made arrests in several places in Jakarta in relation to the case.

In the operation, the KPK found 33 bags of money at Tonny's residence in Central Jakarta. The total amount of money found is Rp18.9 billion.

A day later, the KPK named Tonny and Adhiputra as suspects. KPK deputy Basaria Panjaitan said Adiputra is suspected of bribing Tonny. PT Adhiguna Keruktama is one of the companies involved in the project at the port.

During the bust, the KPK also seized a number of weapons including five Javanese keris and a spear.

In addition to questioning Tonny, the KPK today will also question Adhiputra five other people, including the Head of KSOP Samarinda in 2016, Yus K Usmany.
