Indonesian AHM Racers Participating in Honda Thailand Talent Cup

    TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - For the first time Astra Honda Motor (AHM), which is Honda’s Indonesian manufacturer and distributor, will send two of its motorcycle racers, Mario Suryo Aji (13) and M Adenanta Putra (13) to participate in the 2017 Honda Thailand Talent Cup.

    The company’s General Manager Marketing Planning & Analysis Division A. Indraputra, AHM is committed to providing a broader opportunity to for their racers to grow and practice their race crafts.

    “We’re certain that Indonesian racers have the potential to achieve the dream to reach the level of MotoGP,” said Indraputra on Wednesday, September 13.

    Both Mario Surya and M. Adenanta have tested their race craft at the Honda Racing School (AHRS) and is trusted by AHM to race on a spec Honda NSF250R together with 12 other racers.

    The opening race of the season will be held at Chang International Circuit, located in Buriram, Thailand, on 16-17 September.

    At a young age, Mario showed flashes of brilliance by finishing in fourth place in Indonesia’s 250cc National Cup that was held back in August, where he defeated other much more experienced racers.
