    TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officiated the start of the Countdown to Asian Games 2018 in National Monument (Monas), Jakarta, last night, August 18. Jokowi started the countdown by shooting an arrow at the target.

    Also attended the concert of the Countdown to the Asian Games 2018 were Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK), Youth and Sports Minister Imam Nahrawi, Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Puan Maharani, and former President Megawati Soekarnoputri.

    Jokowi and JK wore white polo shirts, red jackets, and black trousers at the event.

    A number of celebrities participated at the Countdown to Asian Games 2018’s concert were Raisa, Tulus, Far East Movement, and many others, include two members of Korean girl band SNSD (Girls Generation), Taeyeon and Hyoyeon.
