Pertamina EP Exceeds Production Target

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Pertamina EP Asset 4 has produced 14,357 barrels of oil per day (bpd) at of the end of May. This volume is 110 percent above the company's target of 12,255 bpd.

The oil output is lifted from four fields at Asset 4 work area, including Cepu Field in Central Java and Poleng Field in East Java.

"We are grateful since only Asset 4 has exceeded production volume target," Pertamina EP Asset 4 general manager Didik Susilo said in Surabaya Monday, June 5.

The output excess is reported to have delivered profit to the company. As of April, Pertamina booked US$28 million profit or about Rp378 billion, which is an increase of some 14.5 percent.
