Angkasa Pura II Launches Indonesia Airports App to Improve System

    TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II today launched a new app called Indonesia Airports aimed to improve operation system at airports.

    On the app, which can be downloaded on Android smartphone, there is information provided for passengers about facilities at airports managed by Angkasa Pura II.

    To enjoy the service, passengers can download the app on Android google play.

    Several features of the app include “What’s New”, a guideline for passengers to know the nearest hotels around the airport, “Guide”, a guideline to find out the closest shops,  “Shop and Dine”, “Airport Care," and other features.

    The app also has a feature providing information about arrival and departure of flights and many others. Budi added this digital system will also be integrated with online taxi and conventional taxis.

    The minister hopes that with the operation of this launch, it is hoped that ranking of Soekarno-Hatta airport can improve to 44 from 63. 

    “Hopefully, Soekarno Hatta’s ranking can jump into 30 next year,” Minister Budi said.
