Starting May 1, Garuda, Angkasa Pura II Operate Terminal 3

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National carrier PT Garuda Indonesia and state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II are ready to operate international flights in Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta airport, Cengkareng.
The flights will be open on May 1 2017 at 12.01 in the morning after operational simulation completes as a requirement to obtain operational eligibility.
Head of Corporate Secretary & Legal PT AngkasaPura II Agus Haryadi said that Terminal 3 can serve international flights after the completion of administration and technical verification processes and simulation evaluation of service and system operations.
PT Angkasa Pura II as the administrator of Soekarno-Hatta airport and Garuda Indonesia airline has carried out a number of simulations involving both passengers and plane operations. Agusexplained that the simulation emphasizes the flow of passengers and aircraft movements in the apron of Terminal 3 International.
Everything is simulated ranging from safety to information that involves hundreds of people as passengers, immigration officers, customs, ground handling and other stakeholders.
