TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government is on the process of drafting the seventh economic policy package, which will be announced this week. "There are two or three points," said Lukita Dinarsyah, Secretary for the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs on Monday, November 23, 2015.
Lukita said that one of the points planned to be included in the economic policy package is tax allowance for labor-intensive industries.
Last September, the government issued tax allowance in the second economic policy package. Hwoever, according to Lukita the incentive had not covered labor-intensive industries. "There will be more industries covered [in the new policy package]," said Lukita.
Previously, the Village Areas Ministry had proposed village funds to be included in the seventh economic policy package. Lukita said that there are five or six policies still being reviewed by the Village Areas Ministry.
