TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tommy Sugiarto cruises to 2015 Denmark Open final as he overpowered Taiwan’s Chou Tien Chen 21-8, 22-20 at semifinal on Saturday, October 18.
The Indonesian men’s single shuttler is now gearing up to face first seed Chen Long form China on final later today.
“On the paper, Chen Long is the favorite. But I will try my best. I will try to play better than before,” Tommy said in Odense, Denmark as quoted by PBSI Public Relation and Media Team on Saturday.
“He is more mature in attack and defense. I have to play more patiently.”
Beside Tommy, Indonesian mixed-double ace Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir had also reached final to face South Koreann Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na.
