TEMPO.CO, Padang - As many as 62 cyclists hit finish line of stage 8 of Tour de Singkarak 2015 on Saturday October, 10. Iranian cyclists under Pishgaman-Giant Team still dominate the overall standings by defending Yellow, Polkadot and Green Jerseys after pedaling along 124-kilometer distance.
Pishgaman’s Arvin Moazemi Goudarzi, keeping Yellow and Polkadot Jerseys, recorded overall 26 hours 50 minutes and 01 second and 89 points as the King of the Mountain. Following Arvin as the second fastest is his team mate Amir Zargari with 3 minutes and 23 seconds time difference.
In sprint category, other Pishgamant cyclist Hossein Askari defended his Green Jersey by collecting 14 points. Thomas Rabou from the Netherlands is only one-point behind Hossein.
The stage 8 of Tour de Singkarak was started from the office of West Pasaman Regent and finishes at Lawang Adventure Park in Agam Regency. The King of Mountain points are at kilometer 97.5 (level one) and 122.5 (level two).
The route taken by cyclists in this stage offers a number of captivating tourism destinations such as Lake Maninjau and Lawang Adventure Park.
