TEMPO.CO, Seoul - Indonesian women’s double shuttlers Greysia Polii/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari and mixed double shuttlers Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir become the country’s only representatives left at 2015 Korean Open semifinal held in Seoul, South Korea.

Greysia/Nitya defeated China’s Yu Yang/Wang Xiaoli 21-4 and 21-18 on Friday to meet other China’s double and world’s fifth rank Luo Ying/Luo Yu at semifinal later today.

“We had prepared our selves to play tough against them. With so much wind on the court, we were more prepared than them,” Greysia said about Friday’s fixture as quoted on Indonesian Badminton Federation (PBSI)’s official site on Friday, September 18.

We have to be more prepared. We won over Luo/Luo in our last encounter in Taiwan. But we remain vigilant."

Tontowi/Liliyana broke into semifinal after tumbling China’s Lu Kai/Huang Yaqjong in a tight game 16-21, 21-11 and 21-17. Liliyana said the high-speed wind affected their game on Friday. Today, the world’s number two will be facing Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock from England. The Indonesian pair won their last encounter with the Britons in May.
