TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Secretariat General of the House of Representatives (DPR) said that there were in total of 27 people leaving to the United States, including their wives, children, and assistants. Wife of the House Chief Setya Novanto, Deisti Atriani, was one among many entourage leaving to New York.

Some other names included Letty Novianthi (wife of Roem Kono), Wiwik Ariany Kardinal (wide of Robert Joppy Kardinal), and Syarif Assegaf (son of Nurhayati Ali Assegaf).

"They are not included in the budget, as they went there using their own," said Head of PR and News Department of the House, Djaka Dwi Winarko.
