TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo held another banquet in the Presidential Palace Thursday afternoon, inviting market sellers from 19 markets in Jakarta. "I am pleased to be able to meet you all," said Jokowi in his speech.

Jokowi claimed that he invited market sellers so that he can get insights on the existing problem in the traditional market. "I want to hear also their hopes and expectations," he said on Thursday, September 3.

Jokowi added that organizing market is Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama’s issue. "It is his deal, actually. I want to help as long as it is completely organized," he said.

Previously on Tuesday, Jokowi invited public vehicle drivers to presidential palace for similar events. There were 88 drivers invited on that occasion, which later turned out to be a sharing session with the president.
