TEMPO.CO, Jakarta- Head of Technical Management Unit of III Low-Cost Apartment Division of the Jakarta provincial government Sayid Ali said on Saturday, August 22, that Kampung Pulo residents in East Jakarta have gradually been relocated to a low-cost apartment in Jatinegara Barat.
According to him as of Saturday afternoon, at least 452 households had received the keys of the units in the apartment. From the figure, he said that 402 households have already occupied the apartments.
Sayid added that in total, there are 518 households who will be relocated because the houses in Kampung Pulo are situated in the lands that are to be vacated.
"We are optimistic that the number of residents who are relocated to the low-cost apartments will increase,” he said.
